Industry... well, a little bit.

I am feeling mucho better today, and haven't needed a nap yet. (Mind you, I woke up at noon.) Last night I finally finished my pair of to-be-felted slipper/clogs. The second clog had been sitting on the needles since our trip to Peoria. I was applying the second sole when the numbers just didn't match up - and by a lot. Like 30. So I had put it down and decided to deal with it later, when it was quiet and I could think. (Anyone who has knit these Fiber Trends clogs knows how much concentration they can take.) Hubby in Florida and the cats passed out all around me? Perfect. I ripped back the whole second sole and started over... two hours later it was done and without a single problem. Yay!

I have also been threatening to make hummus, but haven't because garbanzo beans take so dang long to cook, but this would probably also be a good time for that. It's too bad it's Sunday - I was really hoping to feel this well yesterday, but oh well. I think I shall use my newfound, yet minimal, need for productivity and blend it with the laissez-faire cooking power of the crockpot to get some chickpeas a-boilin'.

I am glad you are feeling better!! I want to make a new pair of clogs for myself, but after making a bunch over Christmas I am too lazy to deal with the pattern again. They completely rewrote the pattern so I think I am going to try the new version.
