I'm finally getting my passport renewed! It's been lapsed an ENTIRE YEAR. *shudder* Now let's see if my "Do you take heart pills?" incident at PDX keeps me from being renewed (they took down my driver's license info, I'm on a list somewhere), or if the fact that I don't yet have a departure date for my very fuzzy and quite-possibly-not-really-going-to-happen-because-I'm-sure-I'll-never-save-enough-money future trip to the UK causes trouble.

e live just down the alleyway from a huge country park with no roads in it loads of space to stretch legs out on the flat areas. Where we live is 'London' but is on the edge of Hertfordshire countryside (horses and all that sort of thing) so not really. We are going to be careful about diet, and legs (especially if we get a 3 legged one) but the biggest thing we have to be careful about is over walking, as our previous mad dog needed 2-3hrs a day (collie) as opposed to a 20 minute dash at 600mph. We are looking for a lurcher and have specified not a racing background as we would need a lot of retraining to get out of cat habits. I lurve dogs, have a;ways had one although this will be our first lurcher. i wanted a dog I could darn well knit for didn't I and my old dog was having none of my poncy blankets and coats although he did like the blankies and pillows. However, some greyhounds have wool allergies so have asked for a one without
