Maryland Sheep and Wool

No, I didn't get to go, but Janis did. However, I still recieveth-ed of the bounty. I totally forgot to scan my skien yesterday (I blame Wizard Rock), so here it is.

One beautimous skien of Brooks Farm Yarn Acero (60% superwash wool, 20% silk, 20% viscose; 420 yds) in lovely reds that range from brick to dark ruby. The color in the pic is a little flat - it's a heathered kind of yarn so the colors IRL are really rich. Also the silk gives it a little bit of a shine. It's a heavy sock-weight, though I wouldn't use it for socks.

I have NO CLUE what to make with it, but I'm learning towards something that will go near my face because it's soooo soft. Maybe it's time to start that möbius shawl - I did get my 60" circs in from KnitPicks (interchangeable, from the Options line).

Sounds good to me. I'd totally use it for something around my face, something that drapes and is lovely. Maybe a few YOs. My friend bought a skein to make socks. I totally wouldn't make socks out of it. :D
