Friday night was spent with Ne working on our oh-so-thrilling author review. I think I have read the book from cover to cover five times now. It's decidedly less shiny and new at this point. But I will buck up, because I know in the end it's worth it. Until then, oy! (I know when I finally see what our designer does with it I'll be in love again; I'm a visual person and right now it's all just black and white pages and pages and pages of text. Not very stimulating.)

Saturday we slept a little late. I went through the recycling looking for a check that I had actually never gotten (figured this out on Sunday). There was Much Ado About Laundry. General cleaning happened. We went to Good Foods to shop and got to use our owner's discount for the first time. (We could have technically used it before, but never made it to the store on Owner Discount Days.) We also remembered to bring our canvas bags, which usually hang, forgotten, by the door on the peg board I put up to keep the bags handy so that we remember them! In getting bags down, I found my YARRRRRN! tshirt, which was good because I was starting to worry. I put it in the car so I would remember to get it to Raellyn. While out and about (read that with a Canadian accent, please), Hubby and I stopped at ReBelle to pick up my custom skirt from Ms. Sarah. It's awesome! It's beyond awesome!

Saturday Janis and Paul left for Des Moines, which makes for sadness. I'm so bad at finding people I like; it is super sucky to see them move away. We got to visit them one last time on Tuesday. She introduced me to her snakes and her cat and we flipped through many sketchbooks. We inherited her cat tree, and she even donated some dragon bookmarks she had drawn and printed to the Adair Co. library.

Sunday was spent at Raellyn's for the final tshirt fittings. I'm very excited to have "normal," cool tshirts that fit me correctly. You would not believe how much the little changes made helped. I decided to entirely replace the sleeves so that they will be ¾ length, but need to go buy some more fabric to have enough for all three shirts. Not a problem. Raellyn has to go help her parents out for a few days, and then after she gets back to town she'll finish them up, so I should have them by Thursday or Friday.

Of course, as mentioned before, realizing that this Thursday I am NOT winging off to New York on F+W's dime has helped to greatly reduce the stress level in the house. Today (Monday) Ne and I are planning on finishing our review, and before the finale of Heroes no less, because Ne has mandated it. (I don't watch Heroes - that whole no-TV thing, remember? - but it does sound good and I'll probably watch it on DVD when it comes out.) Tomorrow Mom and MonkeyBoy are coming up to help us with the yard so that the house is more sellable. Wednesday is Colleen's last birthday in Kentucky, as she and Jay are moving so Jay can go to grad school. Thursday, as mentioned, my shirts might be ready at Raellyn's. Friday the review is due, but as it will be done already I think on Friday I'm going to just curl into a ball and cry. Saturday and Sunday I will finish the AC bag I'm working on. On Memorial Day I'm going to just sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep. With earplugs. And a pillow over my head. And if I do happen to wake up? I'll eat pancakes and go back to bed.

And by the way, all of this is happening with me using the recumbent bike every day. I've only missed biking two days out of the past 20. All hail the four-day goal!
