Two down.

Finished my second read-through of HP7 last night. Not nearly as emotional this time (since I already knew who was dying there was less anxiety on every page), and I caught some of the finer plot points I had missed (there was some light napping) or was unsure if I was remembering correctly from the first time around.

I hated the epilogue. It didn't tell me the things I wanted to know. And, you know, I hate that whole "having kids" = "happily ever after" crap, but that's me.

Oh! Speaking of which! I have an appointment in early September for a "consultation" on getting my tubes tied! *dance of sterilized joy*

Jay hated the ending, too. I kinda liked it. I don't think she's necessarily equating children = happily ever after. I think it's more of a case that Harry finally had the family he never had in the past. I see it as heartwarming. hehe.

Yeah, I can see that, but my anti-reproduction stand just overrides it.

i had my tubes tied at age 24. I am now 47. it was the smartest decision of my life. I haven't regretted it for a moment in the last 23 years. not once.
