Greenest closet evah!

We have plans for the downstairs half-bath. First, we're going to remove the cabinet and sink and put in our Haier Combo Washer-Dryer. Then, to allow folks to still wash their hands ('cause green don't mean you ignore hygiene!) we are putting in a Toilet Lid Sink from Gaiam, which recycles the water you used to wash your hands to make/help the toilet flush. That is pretty damn rock on for the green-ity. (Also, Gaiam gives you the option to donate $2 to The Conservation Fund to have a tree planted which helps offset the C02 from shipping.)

Now... we just have to wait for stuff to arrive!

Very cool. You should paint the closet a lovely color of green inside too. :D I think roomie Tresch is looking at getting one of those combo dryer/washers. Some Japanese toilets have those tank-top sinks. I think I broke mine somehow.

I love the tank top sink. I really need to buy a house.
