Saturday was the first day that I slept past 8am in the past three weeks. I made it to 10:40 - bliss! Hubby and I were supremely lazy and even had a nap! Then we did some major grocery shopping and went to Rae and Bug's for dinner. Raellyn made some awesome enchiladas (corn, black bean, spinach, and cheese) and then we all went out to watch for Leonid meteors. I saw two really good ones, very blazy and bright, and I think I saw two fainter ones. All told, the count was 8 meteors and 5 planes.
Sunday I made black bean soup and we went to the last hour of SNB. Not only has Rae infected Bug with the, uh, knitting bug, but my SIL is returning to the fold (she learned in 4-H years ago). Janis came in this weekend so she came by the house yesterday evening, and we went out to Ramsey's for dinner. She brought me pretty yarn for my (much belated) birthday! I am trying to figure out what to make with it. It's wool/camel down, and it should soften further upon washing. Maybe gloves? Decisions, decisions!
Last night I think I slept in a strange position, because I am having a hell of time with neck/shoulder pain this morning. It's not sore muscles, it's more like what I would imagine a pinched nerve feels like. It's not a constant pain, either, it comes and goes in waves, mostly in my neck. I just took some Advil, so maybe that will help.
