Proud

My SNB, individually, is quite generous, but I've noticed we tend to suck on the come-together-for-charity side as a group. I get it, though: as soon as someone else imposes a deadline on your crafting, it is no longer fun (and the people who do find it fun are often caught in a maniacal competitive mode which also makes it no fun for anyone else). I have the same problem with the AC. So when A announced she was putting together a pieced afghan to raffle off at the Lexington Pride Festival, I was touched to see how many of us lined up behind her. Ok, we sucked at the seaming part, which A shouldered, but otherwise I think we done good. You can see the completed (but as of yet unblocked) afghan here.

I suck at the charity knitting too. I keep intending on doing animal blankies for the local shelter with my crap acrylic... but there so many other things I've found to knit instead. Anyway, the blanket looks faboo! Y'all should be proud. :)
