40 days and 40 nights

That's how long I have to knit these kilt hose.

Big thanks to The Lame Pirate Pappas for joining me last night in some commiseratory alcoholic beverages. We listed all the reason why we should own guns. Then we listed all the reason why we shouldn't own guns. They were the same lists.

Also, big shout out to my friend K2 who could tell me, with authority, how much negative ease to put into a sock.

LPP + K2 + SockWizard + Bloody Marias = I have cast on for the damn hose. Now, must knit about an inch a day to get them finished, which is easy at the toe because the circumference is smaller and more difficult at the cuff because on kilt hose the cuff is schmancy. LPP is working on hose for her boy to wear at their wedding and has set herself a goal of 2 inches a day. I think for now I'll try to match that, so that later when I fall behind I'll actually be a little ahead.

[Photographic evidence to come. I'm having Bluetooth issues.]
