Had a pretty good weekend, put off most of our chores so we're starting the week in the hole, but it was worth it.

Saturday we played Settlers of Catan via Skype with our friends in Toronto. I'm not sure the game itself was fun, but the hanging out and poking fun at each other was; we've not seen them since PAB. Granted, I get to talk to one of them every Wednesday at the Wild Rumpus (it's a Green Room thang), but the other is technically stationed in Quebec (poutine heaven) and usually working during the Rumpus.

Sunday we hit La Casa De Rock Band. Now, you know I am all about playing the drums, but to be fair most everyone doesn't like the drums and if anyone wants to play gladly give over. However I did have a bit of a squee when P (who own the game, therefore gets to play it the most, therefore is the best at it in our group) picked a hard set and requested mah skilz to accompany him. I'm finally starting to get the kick drum, occasionally without having to really think about it.

This morning as Hubby and I were driving into work, I read the sign at the Fazoli's as we passed: NOW MEATBALL MADNESS. I joked that it sounded like something that needed a vaccine. Hubby said, "Now?" and looked at me askance. "NOW!" I insisted, passionate that it was happening this very instant. Hubby repressed a smile and informed me that it read M-O-N, as in Monday. Not now. Wow, backwards AND upside down. Good morning, dyslexia!

We saw the same sign and I commented that I wished it said Monster Mammary Madness (as I have seen on signs at other establishments in town) at Fazoli's.
