Shopping

I love to window shop on Etsy, if you can't tell by my postings on FB. It's quite possibly the only place I like to window shop, because everything else always feels like "the tour of beautiful things that I can't have." On Etsy I can usually find something small, wonderful, within my price range, and minus the guilt and waste that comes from buying cheap plastic crap from China. (Target's $1 section, I'm looking at you.)

So, when I find something I like, I mark it as a favorite. Sometimes I buy from my favorites list; more often these items are sold to other people. But recently I went back and look at my favorites from start to finish (only 8 pages) to see the progression of mood and interest. Apparently, my brain works like this:

Ceramic bowls
Anatomical heart-themed jewelry and goods
Silver rings
Raven-themed clothes and jewelry
Green and/or orange silver earrings
iPod cases with eyeballs, skulls, or made to look like cassettes
Fandom-themed cross stitch

Not sure why, but this amuses me to no end. Now I wish I favorited things so that I could see my progression.
